2 Megapixel Indoor/Outdoor, Starlight IR Network Dome Camera
When an entry-level dome camera just won’t do – look no further than the ICIP-D2048SL. Taking aim at the video with low light, the sniper Gen2 series image sensor produces unparalleled levels of image sharpness and full vibrant color in even the lowest lighting conditions. This sleek indoor/outdoor IP dome camera packs some serious hardware. Powered by a large 1/1.9’’CMOS i-Sniper sensor, this image sensor achieves maximum light gathering capability with image sharpness levels to match. Due to the large image sensor, the camera itself is able to remain in color (Day) mode longer than typical Day/Night cameras, and display full-color video with only minimal lighting. On top of the sniper imager sits a motorized 4mm-8mm lens which provides anywhere from a 105 to 56 degree Field of View. Typical applications for this type of camera include Parking Lots, Warehouses, Exterior Residential, and commercial applications.
Functions
H264 Like all IC real-time series products, this device utilizes H.264E (Enhanced H.264) compression technology, enabling crisp image viewing with the least bandwidth consumption possible. This unit adopts an embedded system design, as well as a Linux Operating System, resulting in high levels of stability, performance, and most importantly: reliability. In addition, this unit is fully operational from remote locations (Search / Playback / Backup / Configuration) over standard Ethernet networks.

IVS With built-in intelligent video analytics, the camera has the ability to detect and analyze moving objects for improved video surveillance. The camera provides optional standard intelligence at the edge allowing detection of multiple object behaviors such as abandoned or missing objects. IVS also supports Tripwire analytics, allowing the camera to detect when a predetermined line has been crossed, ideal for business intelligence, workforce optimization, and actionable intelligence. WDR The camera achieves vivid images, even in the most intense contrast lighting conditions, using industry-leading wide dynamic range (WDR) technology. For applications with both bright and low lighting conditions that change quickly, true WDR (120 dB) optimizes both the bright and dark areas of a scene at the same time to provide usable video. True Day/Night A day/night mechanical IR cut filter makes this camera ideal for applications with fluctuating lighting conditions, delivering color images during the day and automatically switching to monochrome as the scene darkens. Interoperability The camera conforms to the ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) specifications, ensuring interoperability between network video products regardless of manufacturer.
