The Direct Sound EX-29 Extreme Isolation Headphones were invented by a studio session drummer because of the need for serious isolation! Not only are these great for home studios, stage and studio musicians, and anyone else who needs isolated sound, these headphones are found on film and video location sound sets the world over.

What makes them so extreme? We use specially designed earmuffs that passively attenuate surrounding sound by a comfortable average of 28 decibels throughout the sound spectrum. With our custom fitted speaker assembly, the speakers are designed to protect your eardrums from damage and improve your recording and performance experience. We are now Blue Man Group approved!!
