The ES-249 is designed to accept an RS232C/ASCIIsignal and output up to eight identical copies.The unit has a single input and eight outputs thatare accessible on rear-mounted 9-pin D-subconnectors. Due to the nature of the RS232Csignal, if long runs of cable are required, it may benecessary to distribute a different time code thatis then "translated" into RS232C/ASCII beforeentering the "user."
