The GefenPRO 16x16 Modular Matrix provides an all-in-one professional solution to route up to 16 DVI or DisplayPort sources to any 16 DVI outputs, supporting resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. The modular design of this 16x16 matrix provides the ultimate in flexibility by allowing the combination of different input and output cards and the extension of inputs and outputs over CAT5-ELR or fiber. The front-panel LCD displays the current routing status. Each source is accessible to any display by using the front-panel push buttons, the RS-232 interface, or through IP Control (with built-in web server, Telnet, and UDP). Hot-swappable dual redundant power supplies allow these matrixes to be used in demanding 24/7 applications where enhanced reliability, ease of servicing, and zero down-time are required.

How It Works
Connect up to 16 digital video sources to the input connectors on the GefenPRO 16x16 Modular Matrix, directly using the DVI or DisplayPort inputs, or via CAT-5 or Fiber Optic extender modules. Connect up to 16 displays via DVI, CAT-5, or Fiber Optic cables, depending on which output module is utilized. Connect an Ethernet cable from the network to the RJ-45 connector to use the built-in web server or Telnet/UDP capability to control routing, EDID, and other functions. Connect an RS-232 cable from a RS-232 control device to control the matrix via RS-232. Connect the IEC connectors of the included AC power cords to the matrix and plug the power cords into available electrical outlets. The sources will be routed as selected.

16 DisplayPort Input / 16 Fiber Output Package: (GEF-MOD-16416-DP1FO)
With this package, two DisplayPort input cards are added, providing 16 inputs. Two Fiber Optic output cards, each with eight SC-type connectors, are also added to extend video up to 6600 feet (2000 meters). 16 Fiber-Optic-to-DVI Receiver units are included with this package option.

16 DisplayPort Input / 16 DVI Output Package: (GEF-MOD-16416-DPDVI)
With this package, two DisplayPort input and two DVI output cards are added. Each input card contains eight DisplayPort inputs and each output card contains eight DVI outputs, providing a total of 16 DisplayPort inputs and 16 DVI outputs.

16 DisplayPort Input / 16 CAT-5 ELR Output Package: (GEF-MOD-16416-DPELR)
With this package, two DisplayPort input cards are added, providing 16 inputs. Two ELR-POL output cards, each with eight outputs, are also added to extend video up to 330 feet (100 meters). 16 ELR-to-DVI Receiver units are included with this package option. Receiver units are powered over the CAT-5 by the matrix, using Gefen?s POL technology.

With this package, two DVI input and two DVI output cards are added. Each input card contains eight inputs and each output card contains eight outputs, providing a total of 16 DVI inputs and 16 DVI outputs.

16 DVI Input / 16 Fiber Output Package: (GEF-MOD-16416-DVI1FO)
With this package, two DVI input cards are added, providing 16 inputs. Two Fiber Optic output cards, each with eight SC-type connectors, are also added to extend the DVI signal up to 6600 feet (2000 meters). 16 Fiber-Optic-to-DVI Receiver units are included with this package option.
