Kramer TP-300FW FireWire over Twisted Pair Transmitter/Receiver & Range Extender
The TP-300FW is a twisted pair transmitter or receiver for FireWire (IEEE 1394) signals. When used as a pair, one converts a FireWire signal into a twisted pair signal and the other converts the twisted pair back to a FireWire signal and simultaneously outputs the twisted pair signal to another TP-300FW.
Kramer TP-300FW Features:
- Ports - 1 6-pin serial 1394 FireWire port; 2 RJ-45 STP/UTP ports.
- System Range - Up to 100m (320ft) and up to 200m (640ft) using a 3rd TP-300FW.
- Cable - STP (shielded twisted pair) such as CAT 5.
- ESD Protection - Kramer's Spark-Guard signal protection circuitry protects against ESD (electrostatic discharge) that can damage digital equipment.
- Compact Kramer TOOLS - 3 units can be rack mounted side-by-side in a 1U rack space with the optional RK-3T rack adapter.
