AGC, Chroma, Video & Sync Designed for studio & TV transmitter applications, the PRC-970 incorporates new video & chroma level AGC circuitry known as "Dual Slope Release". The DSR constantly monitors sync tip, peak whites & chroma level and can keep each parameter within NTSC specified limits. What's more, the 970 also features a video detect/auxiliary select function. If primary video is lost, it automatically checks for an auxiliary input. Front panel LEDs indicate when any of the AGC circuits are operating, thereby alerting the engineer that video correction is necessary. It provides front panel controls for Video Gain, Chroma Gain, Pedestal Level & White Clip.
