LYNX Technik Yellobrik OH-TX-1 fiber Transmitter Option.
This is a small compact fiber SFP module (or stick) which is optional for select LYNX Technik yellobriks. The module plugs into a small cage fitted to the side of the yellobrik and provides fiber output capability.
TX Wavelength = 1310nm Power = -3dBm (typical range 10km = 6.2 miles) Fiber connection is LC/PC (simplex)
Note. The use of singlemode fiber cable is recommended to provide maximum distance capability. The use of multimode cable is possible, but should be tested first as not all cable types are compatible. The distances achieved with multimode cable will be significantly less than singelmode (typically hundreds of meters as opposed to kilometers)
