The Purelink ODC dual-link DVI fiber optic extension system transmitter allows to extend highest quality digital video signal and audio signal ( optical & coaxial ) up to 1,640 ft over fiber optic cabling. No more copper wiring bewtween transmitter and receiver for DDC2B and the transmission of 5v power. To ensure a reliable connection, Purelink EDID management system automatically manages EDID by mainaining continuous EDID communication between connected devices( monitor & video source ). Since it uses only fiber, transmission of content is highly secure and immune to outside interference and it is favored in government, military, school and medical environments.
