This Dixon FCSM Series King short shank hose fitting is made of plated steel with a plated iron nut and connects hose to threaded pipe conforming to the NSPM standard. It has a barbed end to create a tight seal on a hose when used with a hose clamp or crimp sleeve or ferrule (not included), and female National Pipe Straight Mechanical (NSPM) threads on the other end connect to male NPSM threaded connections. This fitting is made of plated steel for greater corrosion resistance than unplated steel with a plated iron nut for strength, malleability, ductility, and resistance to corrosion, and it has a rubber gasket for high elasticity and resistance to abrasion and impact forces. This King short shank hose fitting is used for suction service applications.
