Thor F-2V4A 2 Video 4 Audio over fiber: 2 channel rack mount, broadcast grade fiber optic transmitter and receiver pair for baseband analog CVBS video and analog stereo audio up to 40 km. This system is designed for broadcast, or any other application that requires lossless transport of analog video. Optical transport is based on an application specific 10-bit Analog to Digital converter system designed for broadcasters. Digital conversion of the analog video allows lossless transport and identical signal reproduction regardless of fiber length. This platform is also available with C-Band, 1550nm optics for use with Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier (EDFA) systems. Thor F-VA systems carry up to 4 video channels per wavelength via TDM. Up to 16 wavelengths can be integrated into a CWDM system, allowing for up to 64 channels to be multiplexed onto a single fiber. Redundancy options include dual power supplies, redundant fiber I/O, and 2x2 fully redundant optics. Standard fiber connectors are SC/APC, but alternate fiber panel connectors can be installed by request.
