Real time hardware video encoder with integrated modulator and IPTV server. An internal web server provides access to all settings through any standard browser. All settings are also available from the front panel LCD. Converts uncompressed HD video to MPEG-2 or H.264 transport streams on three outputs. This system generates Digital TV programs on any channel or modulation standard. Supports QAM, 8VSB, DVB-C, DVB-T, and ISDB-T through firmware updates. RF level is adjustable from 15-45 dBmV. Outputs UDP network transport streams to feed IPTV systems and Content Delivery Networks (CDN). Includes integrated DVB-ASI multiplexer for adding programs to output; or multiplexing additional programs in DVB-ASI format. Can be used as a ?stand alone? ASI multiplexer with Add/Drop capabilities. Provides configurable values for Electronic Programming Guide, and all transport stream PID?s can be set independently.

Thor part number H-1CVBS-QAM-IP is a standard CM2 QAM-IP Chassis equipped with a 1 Channel Composite Baseband video encoder card. This card also has inputs for stereo analog audio. HD Programming can be added to the lineup via the QAM-IP units DVB-ASI input. This card supports both NTSC and PAL input video formats. Frame rates up to 60fps are supported for all video resolutions. The encoder parameters can be set through the web interface or via the front panel. For the video codec, both MPEG-2 and H.264 can be selected, and the encoding rate is adjustable from 1-20 Mbps. Audio encoding rate is adjustable from 64-320 kbps. Other available settings are Program Name, Service ID, PMT PID, Video PID, Audio PID, and PCR PID. These parameters are used for Electronic Programming Guide systems, and for program information display on the decoded content.
