Thor H-1SDI-CM2 1 Channel HD-SDI Encoder Card for CM2 QAM-IP

Add on or replacement encoder card for Thor CM2 QAM-IP Chassis Multiplexer system. The CM2 chassis has two encoder bays that can accept any two CM2 depth encoder cards by Thor. This card adds one HD or SD channel from an HD-SDI input to the list of availible programs in the QAM-IP managment interface. This card can be added to a QAM-IP unit with an open chassis, or can replace an existing card. QAM-IP systems allow encoding and distribution of multiple channels from different video formats through different cards. Once installed in the CM2 QAM-IP chassis, all encoding parameters are available through the standard web interface. Each channel is independently configured, and can be encoded in either MPEG-2 or H.264. All PID and Electronic Program Guide feilds can be set, and the video and audio bit rates can be adjusted. This card is not compatible with CM4 QAM-IP chassis, such as the H-4HDMI-QAM-IP. These chassis have dual encoder depth bays.
