Trompeter 12-point indent center contact crimp tool for use with 75 Ohm BNC pins and mini-WECO pin contacts. A multi-point indent crimper, it is more effective than BNC crimpers that just use a hex die to crimp the center pin contact. Features three rows of indentations at 90 degrees to the center pin contact, black oxide coated CRS frame and double dipped green and yellow comfort grip handles. This 9-ounce tool is 6.44'' long with a closed handle span of 2.1'' wide (4.2'' open).

With the advent of high-speed data rates associated with T3 and T4 level transmissions, this tool became the Central Office industry standard for center pin contact crimping. A multi-point indent crimper, it is more effective than BNC crimpers that just use a hex die to crimp the center pin contact. But Model 010-0098 provides three rows of indentations at 90 degrees to each other around the center contact pin. This crimping method provides intimate physical contact through the center contact into the wire itself.

Positioners are designed to crimp center contacts on Trompeter's coax, twinax and triax connectors. The black oxide-coated CRS frame has green and yellow hand grips. This 9-ounce tool is 6.44'' long with a closed handle span of 2.1'' wide (4.2'' open). Three-year warranty.
