A high density Rack Mount impedance converter panel, which allows 75 Ohm coaxial transmission of AES/EBU digital audio signals. The conversion transformer changes a balanced 110 Ohm signal on XLR to an unbalanced 75 Ohm signal on a BNC type connector. The IMP-8M8F is a conveniently packaged one rack unit high panel that features 8 male and 8 female 3 pin XLR connectors on one side and twelve BNC coaxial type connectors on the other side.
