Ward-Beck POD6 Miniature Stereo Headset Amplifier
POD6 is a miniature stereo power amplifier on a printed circuit board. Powered from an external +24 Volt source, the unit is designed to drive a headset or small high efficiency speakers. The compact size of POD6 makes it ideal for integration into third party equipment such as studio panels, consoles etc. POD6 is equipped with a standard 1/4 TRS jack, which may be used to mount the assembly to a metal plate. POD6 may also be ordered in a factory metal housing (POD6B) complete with level control for mounting to studio furniture, for example, an announcer's desk. Connections to POD6 are via Panduit, crimp type connectors. Two 12 umbilicals, terminated with the proper Panduit mating connector type, are supplied as part of POD6. The audio and power inputs to POD6 are via Panduit connector P2. A 10K dual audio taper potentiometer is recommended for volume control on Panduit connector P1.
