Wohler VAMP2-MDA Dual Input 4in Looped HD/SD-SDI & CVBS Video Monitor
Wohler VAMP2-MDA Dual Input 4in Looped HD/SD-SDI & CVBS Video Monitor
The VAMP2-MDA is a multi-format, multi-channel color video and stereo audio monitor offering exceptionally high quality HD-SDI, SD-SDI, and CVBS signal monitoring in a 2U rack-size.
The unit features a built-in 4" color LCD, quality stereo speakers, and four 53-segment high-resolution LED bargraph level meters.
There are numerous input and output features that make this unit ideal for facility-wide monitoring of analog/digital audio and video signals.
The VAMP2-MDA is capable of monitoring embedded AES and Analog audio signals separately or in conjunction with CVBS, HD-SDI or SD-SDI video signals.
In "Mix Mode" each of the four input channels may be individually assigned to be monitored from the left and/or right speakers.
Color coded LEDs above each level meter bargraph display indicate which channels are selected for monitoring and to which speaker they are assigned.
Audio phase relationships are indicated by a bi-color (RED/GREEN) LED on the front panel.
Audio input selection status is indicated by LEDs in close proximity to the selection buttons.
When monitoring digital SDI signals, a selection of four SDI groups is selectable via a front panel button.
Analog or AES audio signals may be monitored separately from the HD/SD-SDI and CVBS video inputs or a "Track Video" feature may be used to automatically route audio input to "follow" the video input signals.
Four high-resolution 53-segment LED bargraph level meters exhibit simultaneous VU and PPM display characteristics to provide wide-range visual monitoring of audio signals.
Audio meters are tri-color (red/amber/green) and have a dynamic range of 65 dB.
Bargraph brightness is adjustable using controls located on the top cover.
Other features include internal/external speaker selection, CVBS video output of selected HD/SD-SDI video source on BNC connector, AES audio output de-embedded from the selected HD/SD-SDI input (on either unbalanced HD-15 or balanced DB-25 connector), selectable AES input termination via rear panel DIP switches, metered analog audio output on a DB-25 connector, selected analog audio stereo output on two XLR connectors, automatic sensing and configuration of NTSC or PAL video formats, and a stereo headphone output jack.
