ATEM Proxy

Blackmagic Design ATEM switchers are limited by the number of simultaneously connected clients. This becomes a concern if you connect multiple SKAARHOJ controllers like an array of RCPs or just a number of discrete controllers for various focused control tasks. The ATEM Proxy is a “middle man” that allows unlimited number of SKAARHOJ controllers to connect to an ATEM switcher.  

The SKAARHOJ ATEM Proxy offers a way to expand the number of connected SKAARHOJ controller clients to an ATEM switcher. This is described in more detail in the document Strategies for Blackmagic Design Camera Control found in our SKAARHOJ Open Engineering repository.

The ATEM Proxy Hardware. Just connect the Ethernet cable and a USB Micro Cable for power (5V). On the left side there is a slot for a Micro SD card containing the ATEMBridge2.exe application and configuration files (SKAARHOJ Provided and configured Linux image). The internal hardware is a Raspberry Pi 3.
