Camplex FiberGig CMX-FG550 Bidirectional 2-Channel Broadcast 3G-SDI Fiber Optic Transport - ST Fiber I/O
The FiberGig Series is designed to send broadcast 3G-SDI signals over long distance transmission fiber optic cable at sports venues, concerts and other live broadcast events. Systems support cable runs up to 12 miles utilizing Camplex tactical fiber or opticalCON runs.
The Camplex FiberGig CMX-FG550 delivers 2-channels of 3G-SDI via fiber transport over singlemode fiber optic cable. The unit is bidirectional (for return video), is housed in a rugged rackmount enclosure and sends signals over four ST fiber optic runs. The transport system is engineered for long haul video extension up to 12 miles.
The system features looping outputs with each input for local monitoring or recording and dual outputs per receiver. Automatic equalizing and re-clocking ensure a crisp, clean signal over long distances making it ideal for live events, rental and staging, or building a broadcast infrastructure. A single IEC AC power cord powers each TX and RX unit which reduces the number of cables.
