Datavideo DN-60 utilizes the latest solid state technology of removable and high capacity CF memory cards. The new technology provides hours of continuous high definition recordings; enables the advantage of a tapeless acquisition in even the toughest environments. The DN-60 is powered by using 4 traditional or rechargeable AA batteries. Depending on the type of batteries utilized; a standard AA battery should offer approximately 2 hours of continuous recording. DN-60 offers connections directly to DV or HDV camcorders via a single Firewire cable.

Note: When the power supply is physically connected to the recorder, the circuit from the recorder will not switch to battery power. MXF recording capability is now available with the firmware upgrade.
