Kramer VP-8x8 8x8 VGA/UXGA Matrix Switcher
The Kramer VP-8x8 is a high performance 8x8 RGBHV seamless matrix switcher for high resolution video / VGA-UXGA signals. It is a true matrix, routing any input to any or all outputs simultaneously. The VP-8x8 switches during the vertical interval and can add up to 3.5 seconds of delay (user controlled) with the sync signals running. The VP-8x8 monitors and displays the availability of the inputs. Sixteen preset memory locations are provided for quick access to common configurations.
In addition, the TAKE button lets you place multiple switches in a queue, and then activate them with one touch of this button. The VP-8x8 is locally controlled from the front panel keyboard, or remotely controlled via RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet or Kramer's Infra Red Remote Control. The RGBHV signals are connected on HD15 pin connectors, to reduce enclosure size. It is dependable, rugged, and fits in one vertical space of a standard 19" professional rack enclosure (1U). Video bandwidth of 400MHz ensures that the VP-8x8 remains transparent even in the most critical applications. The VP-8x8 is fed from a 100 264 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 23VA switching power supply.
