The HDE-3000 reads all known closed captionfiles formats and is able to translate EIA-608captions to the new EIA-708 file formats as theyemerge.
The HDE-3000 is constructed in a modularconcept for future updates. All of thecomponents plug into industry standard PCIslots. The modular architecture allows for easyupgrades in the field. There are available slotsthat will provide features for advanced operation.The firmware is easily upgraded through thefront panel, 3.5" floppy, or ethernet.
The HDE-3000 meets the strictest requirementsfor broadcast use. A power by-pass relayprovides signal pass-through in the event of ACpower outage. An optional fault tolerant powersupply is available.
The HD video formats covered are: 1080i 25 &29.97/30; 1080p 25 & 29.97/30; 1080p 23.98/24;720p 59.94/60. SDI standard definition for 525and 625 are standard operational systems.
