The MS IS provides 48 V switchablePhantom Power with an indicator LED,continuous rotary Gain trim between 15dB and 60 dB, Signal/Overload LED, andXLR balanced Input & Output connectors.A Polarity switch and high-currentcross-coupled output line driver round outthe features.
The MS 1S utilizes one of the finestultra low noise amplifier designs available.Featuring a true differential input withhigh common-mode rejection, use of theMS 1S guarantees performance usuallyfound only in mixing consoles costingthousands of times as much. Of course,for all of that extra money you receive aproportional increase in KPSI (knobs persquare inch).
The MS 1S replaces the MS 1B MicStage with a new internal universal powersupply. The width increases by one inch,all other features are the same.
