Thor H-HDSDI-H264-E H.264 Broadcast Encoder with ASI and IP Output

Broadcast grade rack mount real time H.264 hardware encoder with multiple input and output formats. Coverts uncompressed video to H.264 MPEG-TS programs for distribution over IP networks, or ASI broadcast contribution systems. Available video inputs include HD-SDI, SD-SDI, HDMI, Component, and Composite video signals. This encoder is based on a high level H.264 codec and a hardware based FPGA processor to ensure reliable encoded program generation at low latency. Control is based on an integrated web server accessible through a second network interface that is independent of the IP input system. Network control is available through any standard web browser, and with properly configured routers can be available over the public internet. All configuration settings can be made through the web interface or front panel. The interface allows for modification of all program ID fields for custom PID assignment. Both ASI and IP outputs are available simultaneously. The IP output is compatible with both unicast and multicast subnets, and can be set for either UDP or RTP protocol wrappers. This is an ideal platform for point to point program transport or as stream generator for IPTV media server. The ASI output can be used with any Digital TV modulator compatible with the DVB-ASI interface.
