Ward-Beck openGear MFC-8320-N 2RU Frame Controller Network-Control Systems Interface
The MFC-8320-N is an optional network controller card that allows the DFR-8321 openGear frame to communicate with multiple copies of DashBoard via Ethernet and TCP/IP--allowing remote access to the openGear frames across both LAN and WAN architectures.
(Can be upgraded after market to add SNMP Monitoring by purchasing SNMP-8310 upgrade key)
Features:
- Monitors frame power usage and sets the fan speed accordingly
- Monitors the frame door and PS-8300(s)
- Monitors the fan door and notifies the user if the door is left open too long
- Monitors the status of other cards in the frame via the internal bus
- Supports the DataSafe? feature in DashBoard
- Generates alarms if any of the monitored functions develop errors
- Provides an ethernet connection for remote control and monitoring through DashBoard
- Stores the IP Address settings on the frame
- Supports more than one concurrent TCP Control connections, such as DashBoard, or a control panel
